Smiles

It’s kind of funny how everyone stands around, talking to one another. They have these big, funny smiles on their faces while they look at each other. And then, there are those people who are naturally happy. The ones who walk away from a previous conversation and continue to grin to themselves even though no one is really watching. They have those scrunched up eyes and those toothy grins and they walk with a soft bounce in their step. And when you catch them - smiling to themselves, I mean - it’s sort of heartwarming. Knowing someone out there is on their mind and making them smile so strongly. It makes you wonder how many people have left your conversations with such a toothy grin. With such scrunched up eyes. With such a bounce in their step. Kind of depressing actually. Kind of depressing to think about. What if no one smiles after they finish up your conversation? What if they don’t even have one of those big, funny smiles on their faces while they look at you? Quite sad how such a thought could ruin a perfect mood, isn’t it? Yes, well. I guess that’s what I’ll be demonstrating next. How such thoughts could ruin it all…I hope you’ll enjoy the show. It could be a long one.
